It happens that the logs in the Event Viewer corrupted. So to fix this problem you do this:

1. Insert Windows Vista DVD and go to repair your computer.
2. Select your OS and hit NEXT
3. Click open Command Prompt
4. You are now on X:\Sources so now we go to the C drive by typing

C:

5. Go to the Windows event log folder by typing

cd C:\Windows\System32\winevt

6. Type

ren Logs Logs_old

7. Type

mkdir Logs

8. Restart your Windows Vista

Hope that works! :P

Normally for a company I would suggest them to have an exact specification for all their computers or printers and what not which would save me a lot of valuable time when doing maintenance. For instance, if PC A is down and needs to be formatted, I would just plug in my Hiren BOOTCD and do commands or simply use Norton Ghost and clone any other well working PC’s hard disk to the problem PC. After that with minimal re-setting everything’s done. Just like that. It normally takes me less than 15 minutes to fix anything. But I’m not only talking about Norton Ghost, Hiren BOOTCD has like tons of useful applications to be used. So today I’ll be featuring Hiren’s BOOTCD – The ultimate All-In-One (AIO) Bootable CD

I had a very weird NYE celebration. How about yours?

MININOVA IS DEAD! :( bastard! But im using MONOVA now. The only god damn reason why I’m here right now writing is because my fucking server is 100% completely CRASHED! FUCK!!! I’m actually done with the whole setting up and reconfiguring and all of a sudden my WINDOWS 2000 crashed! DAMN YOU WINBLOWS!

I’ve lost a friend a couple days back. I actually met him a day before it happened. I’m no good when it comes to this matter. I’m no good with words too. I’m sorry. I went to KL for a week and it took me 2 days to recover. So effin tired man! I’ll update on the next post. Anyways I’m super happy cuz I got Suzy a present! hahaha!

I should probably take a picture at night. I changed my signal bulbs to LED as well so that it would look like 1 whole set. Though since the Watt of the LED is lower both my signal light blinks really really fast. I got this from GC-Motorsport Uptown Damansara. Big thanx to the guys there who are really friendly and helpful.

Oh I got myself an original Suzuki Sport Cooling Ventilation Grill as well! hehehe! I haven’t installed it yet I didn’t have enough time. I hope I have some time tomorrow. Then I can snap the “Before & After” pictures again hehe.

I have this feeling, an uncertain feeling. I dont know what it means but I think maybe, just maybe…….. I’m in love!

OMG what am I suppose to do? I can’t stop thinking about you. I see you all the time you know? I close my eyes I see you, I open my eyes I day dream of you, when I go to shit I think of you, when I go to eat I think of you. Last week, right after I left my house to go to KK I think of you. When I reached KK I thought to myself how much I miss you.When I went to KK for 3 days all I can think of is you!  This feeling sucks, really.

So I decided to delete the useless ones.

So just so that I wont forget next time here’s how I did it:

Hit ALT+F2 then type the following & run:

gksu gedit /boot/grub/menu.lst

Scroll down to the bottom of the page. Select & delete the ones you dont want.

Here’s a screenshot of my case:

I deleted the ones that I have selected (highlighted) & “Save” the file.

Reboot & there you go. All those useless items are gone!

It’s AWESOME!! I love Ubuntu & I love linux OS! I can really feel the huge difference on 9.04 compared to 8.04.

Here’s a tutorial on How-To Upgrade to your latest Ubuntu distribution, in my case Ubuntu 9.04 using Torrent.

The first thing I did was:

Go to http://www.ubuntu.com/getubuntu/downloadmirrors#alternate

Then, I download:

ubuntu-x.xx-alternate-i386.iso.torrent

* I assume that you are on i386 platform.

Since I do not want to waste my CD/DVD, i mounted the ISO file directly from terminal by typing:

sudo mount -o loop /location/of/ubuntu-x.xx-alternate-1386.iso /media/cdrom0

And then from terminal, I typed the following:

gksu sh /cdrom0/cdromupgrade

Lasty, we wait untill all the updating & installing is completed, restart your computer and there you go. Full upgrade yo!
